Pakistan at the Paralympics : ウィキペディア英語版 | Pakistan at the Paralympics
Pakistan first participated at the Paralympic Games in 1992, and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Paralympic Games since then. Pakistani athletes have so far won a single medal. A silver medal, coming courtesy of Haider Ali in the Men's Long Jump - F37/38 Event at 2008 Summer Paralympics. Ali scored the same number of points (1,104) as the gold medal winner, Farhat Chida, from Tunisia. However, Ali had 2 failed attempts, whilst Chida had none, so Chida collected the gold medal.〔http://www.thenews.com.pk/daily_detail.asp?id=134910 - The News September 10, 2008〕 Pakistan took part in the 2012 Summer Paralympics, and the National Paralympic Committee of Pakistan chose Bedford as the UK base for its Paralympians.〔http://www.bedford.gov.uk/council_and_democracy/council_news/archived_news/february_2012/on_your_marks.aspx〕 ==Medalists==
